Water Use Efficiency

Retain more water in your soil

Aqua-Pam™ is a proven soil surfactant and water retention aid that improves soil structure, increases water supply to a plant’s roots and boosts nutrient use efficiency.

Aqua-Pam increases the rate water soaks into the soil, protecting plants against water stressors. Whether applied by sprinkler or in-furrow irrigation systems, this surfactant increases the soil’s water content to help improve plant growth and increase irrigation efficiency. In addition to reducing leaching, Aqua-Pam helps with erosion control, soil conditioning and water-holding capacity.

The details
  • Increases nutrient and water supply to roots for stronger, healthier plants
  • Increases the available water content of soil
  • Improves soil structure
  • Increases water penetration in certain soils
  • Reduces erosion
  • Reduces water loss from percolation, evaporation and leaching
  • Reduces costs by extending irrigation intervals

Application Guidelines

Always read and follow label instructions and restrictions before use.

Application Instructions

Use rate: 2-6 gallons per season. Applications can be made through certain irrigations systems including, but not limited to, low volume systems and typical agricultural sprinkler systems. Depending on soil condition, you can split apply the recommended rate through the irrigation system using just enough water to allow the product to set on target soil without runoff.

It is not recommended that Aqua-Pam be tank mixed with suspension type products of any kind.

Timing

Aqua-Pam is best applied by injecting through various irrigation systems after all lay by field operations are complete. Apply early in the season for best results. It’s important to do so after seeding or cultivation, but prior to rainfall or irrigation.
