N-Dure™

The application method for inoculating seeds with N-Dure seed inoculant or similar products is as follows:

Prepare a small container: 

• Use a clean, dry container large enough to hold the number of seeds you are treating. This container can be a bucket, a seed treatment drum, or any suitable container.

Add the inoculant: 

• Pour the recommended amount of inoculant into the container. The amount of inoculant will depend on the seed batch size and the recommended application rate.

Add seeds:

• Gradually add the seeds into the container with N-Dure and evenly coat the seeds with the inoculant. If necessary, add the seeds in smaller batches to facilitate proper mixing.

Mix thoroughly: 

• Using a seed treater or a clean scoop, mix the seeds and inoculant thoroughly to ensure even distribution. The goal is to coat each seed uniformly with the inoculant.

Allow drying: 

• After thoroughly mixing the seeds with the inoculant, give them time to dry. To dry them quickly, spread them out in a well-ventilated area or use a designated seed-drying facility. Drying the seeds helps the inoculant adhere to the seed surface.

Plant or store: 

• Once the inoculated seeds are dry, they are ready to plant. Always follow the recommended planting procedures, including seed depth, spacing, and soil conditions suitable for the specific crop.

Always consult the product instructions provided by the manufacturer of the seed inoculant you are using, as they may have specific guidelines or variations in the application process. Following the manufacturer’s recommendations will help ensure the best results and maximize the effectiveness of the inoculant in promoting nitrogen fixation in your crops.

We do not recommend using expired N-Dure inoculant or any other seed inoculant beyond its indicated expiration date. The expiration date serves as a guideline to ensure the viability and efficacy of the inoculant.

Expired inoculants may have reduced bacterial viability, meaning that the beneficial nitrogen-fixing bacteria in the product may have lost their ability to effectively colonize the plant roots and provide nitrogen fixation, resulting in the suboptimal or unreliable performance of the inoculant.

For the best results, we advise using fresh, non-expired inoculant within the indicated shelf life provided by the manufacturer. It is crucial to follow the storage guidelines and use the product before its expiration date to maximize the effectiveness of the inoculant in promoting nitrogen fixation and obtaining the desired benefits for your legume crops. If you have an expired inoculant, it is best to consult the manufacturer or supplier for guidance on proper disposal or alternative uses.
